Ladybug Love

A month and a half ago or so I bought some ladybugs from a nursery.  We had hoped some would stay for our garden but they all flew away within a day or two.  It was worth the $8 anyway.  See below:

A Helpful Sprite

Sleeping Beauty - we call her a sprite - played her "flute" (recorder) outside and our tomatoes grew and we got little buds on our watermelons!  What a helpful little sprite!

Dolphins and Beach Fun

 We went to the beach today for Sleeping Beauty's preschool field trip.  We saw several dolphins (one in the photo above) and a beached baby hammerhead shark.

We had lots of fun with our friends and came home beat.  :)
